Meg is a Labrador dog who spent much time hiding or on Diazepam. We used a homeopathic remedy for her, had a fun walk with my dogs while I assessed her behaviorally and worked with her, and sent her home with flower remedies/aromatherapy. She was to repeat her homeopathic remedy when needed (n.b. this was before it became unacceptable to use such remedies as a non-vet with animals in the UK).
“As you know before Meg came to live with us she had a bad start in life; and missed out in the socialising period in her life. Therefore she had a deep rooted fear of people and loads of other things that we take for granted in everyday life, but mostly of people, and never will be 100% but @ least she is a lot more comfortable with life in general and does not try to hide in a corner when people visit. Most of all I have never used the sedation again.
Rosie is a really nice genuine person and totally dedicated to animals. After speaking to her either by phone or in person you feel calm and relaxed yourself. I am sure she still thinks of Meg and sends some healing to her, as she remembers all her ‘Friends and residents’”
