Our cat Hobi was always a outdoor, excellent mouse hunting cat and overnight her temperament and behaviour changed.  She refused to eat initially, wouldn’t go out, forcing us to have a cat litter tray which she wouldn’t use and preferred to soil and wet around the house.  The vets could not find anything wrong.  During her week stay in October, I explained to Rosie her extreme behaviour change.  Rosie suggested some (esoteric) healing and we were willing to try anything.  On return home Hobi came straight out the basket, usually she is spooked by the car journey not this time and she made her way systematically round each room of the house, looking and sniffing.  It is now 3 weeks since she returned home and she is now venturing out for very short periods.

Enjoying her fat, fat tummy is evidence to that and at 11½ yrs old has suddenly become an ‘old’ pet who likes nothing better than to lie on your knee at night and get stroked.  Before she liked to get you to tickle her tummy so she could bite you.

Overall she is a much calmer cat and most of her strange behaviour has settled down.
